This position will require the successful applicant to provide his or her own transportation to and from the required work site. The requirements for this position are as follows:1.Must be able to understand and comply with the rules and regulations of the BREC Safety Manual.2.Possess a High School Diploma and a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL).3.Work scheduled night, weekend, and holiday duty as well as emergencies (and other service interruptions) when requested, 24-hours per day, seven days per week.4.Must be willing and able to work system-wide and provide his/her own transportation to both offices.5.Possess and maintain a professional appearance that is accepted by the Cooperative.6.Support the Cooperatives objectives, plans, and programs. The successful applicant should be able to work both in a team environment and individually with other employees and the public as well as support other departments when required.7.Climbing skills are required and each applicant will be required to demonstrate those skills.8.Must have the ability to push, pull or lift 75 pounds or more.9.Possess basic lineman knowledge and skills. Basic skills include the ability to read maps and circuit diagrams on computers, the ability to operate equipment used in the construction, maintenance, and operation of the electrical system, and knowledge of personal protective equipment use and maintenance, etc.10.Must have previous line experience and a safe work history.11.The applicant will be willing to work under a 90-day trial period.
