Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Technician to support commissioning activities for mechanical and electrical systems at project sites. This position is based out of Milwaukee, WI, and requires up to 30% travel, which may include two-week site assignments. All travel time is paid, and company vehicle, credit card, per diem, and lodging are provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Commissioning Representative with inspection, testing, and start-up of mechanical and electrical systems. Conduct system checks, verify performance, and ensure compliance with design specifications. Document testing procedures, results, and site observations with attention to detail. Report malfunctions and assist in troubleshooting and corrective actions. Follow all safety protocols and commissioning guidelines. Maintain clear communication with project teams and support ongoing commissioning documentation.
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems, or related field experience. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical procedures. Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn on the job. Ability to travel regionally and occasionally stay on-site for up to two weeks. Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
