Position Summary
Acuren is currently looking for Rope Access Technicians (Levels 1 – 3) to support our operations in and around Longview, TX.
Responsibilities
Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
Be conversant with relevant work techniques
Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of level of certification
Assist other technicians as required
Ensure operational safety of all equipment
Requirements
IRATA Levels 1-3 Certification required A thorough understanding of applicable rope access applications, and comprehensive knowledge of theory, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and hauling and advanced rescue techniques
Current first aid certification
A valid drivers’ license is preferred
Ability to work effectively within a diverse team
Ability to work productively in a variety of adverse conditions
