Position Overview As aWind Site Technician, you’ll ensure the smooth operation of windturbines, directly addressing maintenance, troubleshooting, andsystem issues. Your contributions are vital in maintaining clean,reliable energy for local communities, regardless of yourbackground in wind, electrical, mechanical, or heavy machinerysectors. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair wind turbineswith your team to keep communities powered.
  • Adhere to safetyprotocols and perform safety inspections.
  • Collaborate with yourteam to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
  • Document your work and continuously improve operational processes.
  • Accurately time code all work activities to support cleartracking of task duration, progress, and operational efficiency.

Who You Are

  • At least 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate,or 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical orelectrical fields.
  • Highly developed problem-solving abilities andan engaged approach to responsibilities.
  • Safety-conscious andcommitted to best practices.
  • Able to work well with others andenjoy collaborative environments.
  • Physically fit, comfortableworking in various conditions, and at heights.
  • Ability to speak,read and follow instructions in English.
  • You have a high schooldiploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license, and are legallyauthorized to work in the U.

Salary &Career Growth We offer attractive pay packages, performancebonuses, and opportunities to support your professionaldevelopment. The base pay salary range for this position is $27.43- $33.43/hr. , with potential for additional variable compensation.

Pay will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

  • Ability to stand and walk forprolonged periods of time.
  • Hearing ability to use telephones,close range radios or related device.
  • Visual acuity includingdepth perception, field of vision and the ability to distinguishbetween colors.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl asneeded, as well as hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to climb stairs & vertical ladders to heights of 60 to 100meters and at times supervise work in confined space environments.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to, but not more than50 lbs. in weight.
  • Ability to observe training and obtaincertification in required safety programs that include LOTO,Electrical Qualification, Fall Arrest & High Angle Rescue &Emergency Decent, and Confined Space.
  • Ability to successfullyparticipate in all training courses, including controlled decentpractical exercises.
  • Due to design parameters of fall protectionequipment, the combined weight of prospective employee, requiredPPE and gear shall not exceed 300 lbs.
