Summary:
Central Maine Community College seeks an adjunct faculty to teach MIG Welding I. The instructor will utilize a learning management system. This class is scheduled on Tuesdays from 8:00am-4:30pm.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least five years of industry experience running gas shield MIG
Knowledge of print reading and basic metallurgy principles
Non-welding fabrication processes such as sawing, fitting, material prep, grinding, and polishing
Knowledge of standard safety procedures, basic hand tools use, measuring tools/methods, and project-specific mathematics
This person should possess enthusiasm and passion for student learning and be able to respond to the needs of students using a variety of teaching methods
