Since 1961, the Wellborn family has owned and operated Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. The goal is to provide kitchen and bath cabinets crafted by dedicated Wellborn employees with the utmost quality and care. Today, over 55 years later, the product line has broadened to include cabinetry and storage solutions to help maximize the total home living space. As the final person to see and touch the product before it is packaged, this role will employ care, quality control, and organizational skills to help carry out the full responsibilities that will continue to make Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. the most valued provider of permanent home cabinets designed for a lifetime of gracious living. The incumbent in this position supports the activities and responsibilities of the Assembly Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Applies paper to the entire face of the cabinet (cabinets painted with Base coat paint only) Applies plastic pieces on 4 corners of the front of the cabinet (cabinets painted with Stain paint only) Ensures the assembly line is running by helping other teammates to keep the line moving. Replenishes paper and plastic wrap when roll is empty. Moves product within 40-50 seconds on moving production line

Safety glasses, gloves (optional). Paper wrap Plastic wrap

Installs shelves in wall cabinets. Installs toe kick clips in all base/vanity cabinets correctly. Installs toe kicks in all base/vanity cabinets correctly. Completes end panel braces. Helps other teammates to ensure the assembly line is running and help keep the line moving.

Additional duties may be assigned by the manager. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Must be team oriented, interactive, and possess strong communication skills. Ability to stay-on-task, follow safety guidelines and work process procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to move product within 40-50 seconds. The ideal candidate will have an open and socially engaging personality. Must know how to operate different types of tools, such as air powered screw drivers, glue gun, air powered staple gun, etc. Requires good hand/eye coordination. Must know how to read a tape measure. Education and Experience High School Diploma, GED, or 1yr of equivalent experience. Demonstrated skills in planning, prioritizing and time management. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete on a timely basis.
