Our client is seeking a dedicated Wood Builder for the 2nd shift to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will construct wooden packaging components such as crates, pallets, and custom skids, ensuring they meet customer specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities of the Wood Builder-2nd shift Measure, cut, and assemble wooden parts to build crates, skids, pallets, and other custom wood packaging. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or verbal instructions to determine job requirements. Operate hand tools and power tools (e.g., saws, nail guns, drills) safely and efficiently. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Assist in loading and securing products for shipping. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines. Requirements of the Wood Builder-2nd shift High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in carpentry, woodworking, or pallet/crate assembly is a plus. Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math. Comfortable working with hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment and follow instructions.
