We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our team as a Precision Measurer . This crucial role ensures the accuracy of our projects from start to finish, directly impacting the quality and efficiency of our work.

Job Summary:

The Precision Measurer is responsible for accurately measuring job sites for the fabrication and installation of custom aluminum products. This involves visiting client locations, understanding project specifications, and taking precise measurements using various tools and techniques. The ideal candidate possesses strong spatial reasoning skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

Travel to client sites to assess project requirements and take precise measurements for custom aluminum products (shutters, railings, stairs, canopies, etc.). Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project scope and measurement requirements. Utilize measuring tools such as tape measures, levels, lasers, and other specialized equipment to ensure accuracy. Accurately record and document measurements, including detailed notes and sketches. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to clarify measurements and address any questions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles and measuring equipment. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure measurements are correctly interpreted and products are manufactured to specifications. Proactively identify and resolve potential measurement discrepancies or challenges.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in measuring for custom fabrication, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry. Experience with aluminum products is a plus. Strong understanding of measurement techniques and units. Proficiency in using various measuring tools and equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Excellent spatial reasoning and problem-solving skills. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including bending, lifting, and working outdoors.
