Kitchen Cabinet Designer KB Contractors kitchen and bath Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311 Job Summary We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of kitchen design principles and be proficient in promob design software. This role involves collaborating with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that meet their needs and preferences. The Kitchen Designer will be responsible for managing projects from concept through completion, ensuring high-quality results that align with client expectations. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for kitchen designs. Create detailed kitchen layouts using promob software, ensuring optimal space utilization and functionality. Prepare project specifications, including materials, finishes, and fixtures. Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather just the first measurements. Provide expert advice on color theory, materials selection, and design trends. Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the design process to ensure satisfaction. Work closely with contractors and suppliers to facilitate the execution of designs. Requirements Proven experience in kitchen design or interior design is preferred. Proficiency in promob software Strong understanding of color theory and budgeting principles in design projects. Excellent sales skills to effectively present designs and close deals with clients. Knowledge of current kitchen trends, materials, and technologies is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. A degree or certification in Interior Design or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
