Job DescriptionJob Description
The In-House Cabinet Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing custom high-end cabinetry for our luxury manufacturing facility. This role involves close collaboration with production, and sales teams to ensure every design meets our rigorous standards for aesthetics, functionality, and quality. The ideal candidate is a creative visionary with strong technical skills and a passion for fine craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities
Develop innovative design concepts for high-end cabinetry that align with the brand’s luxury aesthetic. Transform creative ideas into detailed drawings, CAD models, and prototypes. Balance form and function to create designs that are both visually striking and highly practical.

Technical Documentation & Production Support:

Prepare comprehensive technical drawings and specifications to guide production teams.

Collaborate with Head of production and its team to translate design concepts into manufacturable products.

Oversee prototype development, ensuring that design intent is maintained during the transition to manufacturing

Material & Finish Selection:
  • Research and recommend high-quality materials, hardware, and finishes suitable for luxury cabinetry.

Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source premium components that meet design standards.

Quality & Innovation Assurance:
  • Maintain a high level of craftsmanship and quality control throughout the design process.
Qualifications Educational Background:

Degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.

Experience:
  • 3+ years of professional experience in cabinet design, furniture design, or interior design within a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven track record of designing high-end, custom cabinetry or luxury furniture.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp) and other design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of woodworking, joinery, and the technical processes involved in high-end cabinet production. Design & Aesthetic Skills
  • Ability to translate creative concepts into practical, production-ready designs.
