We are looking for an experienced Custom Cabinet Maker to join our team. This role requires expertise in assembling and installing cabinets, along with the ability to execute custom woodworking projects with precision and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate has to be comfortable working both in the shop and on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble base, wall, and specialty cabinets according to project specifications Install cabinets and millwork on-site Perform custom woodworking tasks such as modifying cabinets, building unique pieces, or adjusting on-site to fit field conditions Read and interpret shop, and architecture drawings Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely Work with a variety of materials including Hardwoods, Plywood, MDF, Melamine, and Laminates Collaborate with Project Managers, Installers, and Shop Employees to ensure timely project completion Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in cabinet making or custom millwork Proficient in cabinet assembly and on-site installation Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and joinery Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow specifications Ability to lift and move heavy cabinetry and materials Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
