Custom Cabinet Maker/Installer Spacewerks, Inc 7621 124th Avenue, Largo, FL 33773 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship, with experience in creating high-quality cabinets and furniture. This role requires proficiency in using various tools and techniques to produce custom cabinetry that meets client specifications. The Cabinet Maker will work collaboratively with designers and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Construct, assemble, and install cabinets and furniture according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project requirements. Utilize power tools, CNC machines, and hand tools effectively for precision work. Perform heavy lifting as needed during the construction and installation process. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols. Assist in estimating project costs and timelines when necessary. Engage in ongoing training to enhance skills in masonry, drywall installation, mold remediation, plumbing, and other relevant areas. Qualifications Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role in carpentry or woodworking. Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials. Familiarity with CNC machinery and power tools is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Experience in masonry, drywall installation, mold remediation, or plumbing is a plus. A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.
