Custom Cabinet Installer 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars 1155 Charles Street, Longwood, FL 32750 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction techniques and be proficient in using power tools. This role involves the installation of various materials and systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Installation Technician will work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure timely project completion. Responsibilities Install frameless and framed cabinetry…including necessary hinge and drawer guide adjustments Efficiently adjust cabinetry doors and drawers to facilitate decorative hardware installation Create decorative molding applications as described in plans Be familiar with current design trends as they relate to cabinetry installation. Install decorative appliance panels, including flush inset applications. Fabricate components as needed for specific installations. Lay tile with precision, ensuring proper alignment and adherence. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various installation tasks. Perform electrical installations as required, adhering to safety protocols. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and layouts. Apply caulking for sealing joints and gaps in installations. Engage in concrete forming for structural projects as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues that arise during installation processes. Qualifications Proven experience in construction or installation roles with a focus on the skills listed above. Proficient in the use of power tools and equipment related to installation tasks. Basic electrical knowledge is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Ability to read blueprints accurately is crucial for successful installations. Experience with metal stud framing, caulking, and concrete forming is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and project managers.
