The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship, with the ability to create high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of various woodworking techniques and tools. As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into beautiful, functional cabinetry that meets our clients’ specifications. Duties Utilize power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble wood components for cabinets. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate construction of cabinetry. Perform caulking and finishing tasks to enhance the appearance and durability of finished products. Collaborate with designers and clients to understand project requirements and specifications. Install cabinetry in residential settings, ensuring proper fit and alignment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the construction or installation process. Experience Proven experience as a carpenter or cabinet maker is preferred but training will be available. Strong skills in using various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of basic electrical work may be advantageous when integrating cabinetry with existing structures. A keen eye for detail and craftsmanship is essential to produce high-quality work.
