Near Marietta Square We’re a local custom cabinet shop known for high-end craftsmanship, and we’re looking for a skilled Cabinet Finisher to join our team. Finishing work is done in our clean, well-equipped workshop near Marietta Square. If you’re detail-oriented, take pride in a flawless finish, and enjoy working in a supportive team environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Sand, stain, and apply finishes to custom cabinetry and millwork
- Mix and match stains, dyes, and paints to meet design specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient finishing space
- Collaborate closely with our cabinetmakers and installers to ensure seamless handoff and consistent quality
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in cabinet or furniture finishing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent, high-quality results
- Familiarity with a range of finishing products, including lacquer, conversion varnish, and water-based finishes
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends or adjust hours as needed to help meet client deadlines is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently while staying aligned with the rest of the crew
- Reliable transportation and a clean background check
- Ability to assemble and install cabinetry if needed is a plus.
