Millwork Associate 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars 320 Perry Lane Road, Brunswick, GA 31525 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience working with wood; be able to accurately read a tape measure; be familiar with fractions and decimals; be familiar with shop equipment such as shapers; wide belt sanders; planers; glue presses and laminate presses; CNC machines, computer literate. Responsibilities Be able to accurately follow instructions on a Work Order. Fabricate components according to specifications, ensuring precision and quality in all work performed. Utilize machining techniques to create parts as required for production processes. Handle materials safely within the warehouse, including loading and unloading shipments. Assemble products based on engineering drawings or work orders, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role involving fabrication and assembly. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic machinery issues. Familiarity with materials handling practices in a warehouse setting. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment effectively. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during shifts. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
