Job Description
Staffmark is partnering with a well-respected door manufacturing company in Lafayette, LA, and we’re looking for a skilled Shop Helper to join their team! If you have at least one year of carpentry experience and enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity to grow your career.
Pay:
$14.00/hour
Shift:
Monday – Friday | 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. As a Shop Helper, you’ll play a key role in supporting door production.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assembling doors using hand tools, including nail guns Measuring materials precisely with a tape measure Assisting with inventory management Performing quality control checks to ensure product standards Keeping the shop floor clean and organized Lifting materials up to 50 lbs
What You Bring:
Minimum 1 year of carpentry experience Forklift experience preferred Confidence using hand tools and a nail gun Ability to read a tape measure accurately Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
