In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and installation of millwork pieces including doors, windows, frames, cases, cabinets, and architectural details at large commercial job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Install custom millwork (doors, windows, frames, cabinets, architectural details) at commercial project sites. Ensure installations meet project specs, standards, and safety guidelines. Coordinate with the project manager and team to stay on schedule. Take accurate measurements on-site for proper fit and finish. Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform final checks to ensure quality and alignment of installed millwork. Communicate installation progress and challenges with team members. Assist with unloading and setting up materials and millwork on-site.
Required Skills:
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints. Strong carpentry and on-site installation experience. Ability to use hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and safety equipment. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site to meet project deadlines. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks on-site.
Required Experience:
3+ years of experience in millwork installation for commercial projects. OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
