We are looking for a skilled Cabinet Design Specialist (CAD) to join our creative team.
Job Description:
As a Cabinet Design Specialist, you will be responsible for creating detailed, precise, and visually stunning cabinet designs using CAD software. This position requires a high level of expertise in both the design and technical aspects of cabinetry, ensuring that designs meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. You will collaborate with our project and production managers, contractors, and clients to bring custom cabinetry projects to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Design custom cabinets and cabinetry systems using CAD software (Moziak or similar). Work closely with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and space constraints. Produce detailed design plans, technical drawings, and specifications for manufacturing. Review and adjust designs as needed, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budget. Provide support in selecting materials, finishes, and hardware that align with the client’s vision and functionality. Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless transition from design to fabrication. Maintain project documentation and CAD files, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cabinetry design and CAD software.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in CAD software (Moziak or similar). Experience in designing high-end custom cabinets or furniture. Strong understanding of cabinetry materials, finishes, and hardware. Ability to translate client needs into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities is a must. Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred.
