As we expand our capabilities, we’re looking for a skilled Woodshop Associate or Carpenter with 5-10 years of experience to join our team and support production with technical expertise and a hands-on approach. This role is responsible for the fabrication of expansion joint forms in alignment with technical specifications and quality standards.

Essential Duties:

Adhere to industry quality and safety standards. Operate production machinery in accordance with production specifications and work instructions. Fabricate, layout, cut, shape and assemble components/materials for expansion joints. Follow shop orders for cutting, building, packaging and labeling product. Produce required quantity of parts/product within established specifications. Collaborate with other teams to support fabrication requirements and resolve issues. Complete required production records accurately. Meet On Time Delivery goals. Maintain continuous improvement mindset and offer new ideas. Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area. Assist in other areas of the Expansion Joint department as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Work Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous carpentry/woodshop experience is required. Related technical school or training is preferred but not required.

Knowledge/Skills and Ability Requirements:

Ability to measure and cut materials to specifications. Knowledge of the metric measurement system is

REQUIRED.

Ability to utilize hand and power tools Ability to read and utilize measuring devices. Ability to read and update work orders. Ability to read/interpret blue prints or shop drawings. Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn. Frequently required to stand and walk, reach with hand and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch. Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 20 lbs; occasionally up to 35 lbs.
