Woodworker Position Available In Warren, New York

Woodworker Hacker Boat Company, Inc. Queensbury, NY

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Construct interior structures and layouts of boat frameworks and structures
• Plan, build and install seat boxes, cabinets, flooring within designated boat cockpit area
• Install finished fixtures and hardware.

• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures (TRAINING

PROVIDED

)

• Follow guidance from design plans and work closely with design engineer.
• Work with team to build teamwork and communication. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Finish carpentry experience preferred
• mill work fabricator, mill work installer, cabinetmaker and finished carpenters are

ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.

• Knowledge of most facets of woodworking tools (Industrial
• hand tools)
• Requires good Mathematical Skills and Problem Solving abilities
• Able to work with marine products i.e.
• epoxies, glues, varnishes and paints
• Team Player and strong work ethic
• Ensure a high quality of standard of craftsmanship
• Must be able to work under pressure and timelines

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Knowledge of proper wood selection.
• Ability to work in tight small place for long periods of time
• Ability to read and understand blue prints
• High school diploma preferred

THIS IS FULL TIME AND YEAR ROUND POSTION WITH INDOOR WORK.
