Woodworking Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Responsible for their own as well as their fellow coworkers safety.
• Construct and assemble cabinets, furniture, and other wooden structures based on blueprints, schematics, or verbal instructions
• Measure and cut wood pieces to the required dimensions
• Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and knobs
• Sand and finish surfaces to ensure a smooth and polished appearance
• Repair or replace damaged cabinets or furniture
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Maintain and clean shop machinery and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience in custom cabinetry and millwork
• Proficient in working with various woodworking tools and stationary equipment
• Knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during construction.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
