This entry-level position is ideal for someone who values craftsmanship, is eager to learn, and wants to grow in the woodworking and custom cabinetry field. You’ll begin by supporting the team with essential daily tasks such as preparing cabinets for delivery, transporting them to job sites, and keeping the shop clean and organized. Over time, you’ll gain hands-on experience in cabinet production and learn woodworking skills from experienced craftsmen.
Responsibilities:
Wrap and protect finished cabinetry for transport Deliver cabinets to job sites (must have a valid driver’s license) Assist with loading and unloading materials and products Maintain shop cleanliness and organization , including sweeping, tool upkeep, and dust management Support shop staff with basic tasks and gradually assist in cabinet assembly and wood preparation Follow safety procedures and company standards Maintain a respectful and collaborative attitude with the team
Requirements:
Strong work ethic and attention to detail Punctual , reliable, and able to manage time responsibly Physically capable of lifting and moving cabinetry and materials up to 50 pounds Interest in woodworking and craftsmanship Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred Traits:
Previous shop or construction experience a plus, but not required Appreciation for high-quality workmanship and materials Friendly, easy-going demeanor that contributes to a supportive team environment
