Fiberglass / Composite Technician Element2 Group Lincoln, RI 02865 Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Composite Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of composite materials, utilizing various tools and techniques to ensure high-quality production. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with power tools, and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a warehouse environment. Responsibilities Fabricate composite components according to specifications and engineering drawings. Operate power tools, hand tools, and machinery for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Perform machining tasks as needed to achieve precise dimensions and finishes. Build and assemble structures using millwork techniques. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Operate forklifts for the movement of materials within the warehouse as required. Qualifications Proven experience as a Composite Technician or in a similar role within manufacturing or construction. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and machinery relevant to composite fabrication. Familiarity with carpentry practices and millwork techniques is highly desirable. Experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during shifts. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
