Lead Cabinet Design Specialist RM Buck Builders 940 Main Road, Johns Island, SC 29455 Do you have a passion for cabinetry design and residential space planning? Island Cabinet Company is looking for a Cabinetry Design & Production Lead to join our team! This full-time role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in both custom cabinetry design and residential space visualization. You’ll be a key player in bringing high-end projects to life while ensuring seamless coordination between clients, designers, and craftsmen.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Cabinet Design & Shop Drawings Visit job sites to take precise field measurements Design and develop detailed shop drawings for custom cabinetry Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and homeowners to refine designs Communicate design specifications to the cabinet makers for seamless execution Residential Design & Project Coordination Create floor plans and cabinet elevations to support cabinetry integration Work alongside architects and contractors to align cabinetry with home layouts Organize and manage project details to keep jobs running efficiently

EXPERIENCE

5+ years’ experience in cabinetry design and space planning required Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) Cabinet installation, carpentry, or residential project management preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail A problem-solver with a creative mindset
