Job Description California Closets of Charleston, SC is looking to expand our team in the Installation department. If you have an aptitude for woodworking, a valid SCDL, a good driving record and are able to work independently, we would like to consider you for a position with our organization. We provide equipment and training, as well as a competitive pay scale for this outstanding opportunity. The main responsibility of this position is to produce our products in a safe, efficient and effective manner, upholding the business & personal ethics along with the customer satisfaction levels that our clients have come to expect, and that California Closets has always stood for.

Duties and Responsibilities:

maintain a commitment to client satisfaction, customer service and excellence
perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to create custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces
utilize provided CAD drawings to produce systems properly and efficiently.
maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order
partake in training programs as needed and as required
provide a high level of customer service when needed
maintain safety standards at all times.
operating company-provided vehicles in a safe manner. perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record
High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
experience with common hand and power tools
trade or vocational school experience desirable
cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable
strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
maintain a strong work ethic
possess reliable transportation to and from our facility
acceptable post-offer drug screen
ability to pass background test
able to walk, lift 50 pounds, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch
