Cabinet Maker Exceptional Cabinets, LLC 1844 Whiting Way, Lugoff, SC 29078 Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and a strong understanding of cabinet construction techniques. This role involves creating high-quality cabinets for residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all pieces meet our exacting standards for craftsmanship and design. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with designers and clients to bring their visions to life, while also adhering to project timelines. Responsibilities Construct cabinets using various materials, including wood, laminate, and veneers. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision. Ensure all cabinets are plumb, level, and square during installation. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects involving cabinetry. Perform heavy lifting as required when moving materials or finished products. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist in estimating project costs related to cabinet construction. Apply finishing techniques such as painting, staining, or plastering as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar carpentry role. Strong skills in remodeling and frame carpentry. Familiarity with concrete forming techniques is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely. Knowledge of construction estimating practices is desirable. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to cabinet making. Attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics in design and finish work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
