The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finishing cabinetry and related woodworking tasks. This role involves preparing, finishing, and ensuring the quality of cabinets to meet high standards of craftsmanship. The Cabinet Finisher will work closely with other team members to deliver exceptional results on various projects. Duties Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and applying primer as needed. Apply stains, paints, and finishes to cabinets using various techniques and tools. Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make adjustments as necessary. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of cabinetry into projects. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working in the shop or on-site. Assist in mold remediation and caulking tasks as required by project specifications. Participate in fixture installation and frame carpentry when necessary. Skills Proficiency in construction painting techniques and cabinet finishing processes. Experience with CNC machinery for precision cutting and shaping of materials is a plus. Knowledge of metal stud framing and masonry techniques is beneficial. Ability to plumb cabinets accurately for installation purposes. Strong skills in fixture installation and general building practices. Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
