Custom Cabinet Installer Silverwood Cabinetry 501 Industrial Road, Paris, TN 38242 Silverwood Cabinetry is looking for a detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Installer with a strong background in fine woodworking and craftsmanship. This role involves installing high-end, custom-built cabinetry and millwork in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate understands the precision and care required in custom woodworking, with a strong eye for detail and experience handling unique materials, finishes, and one-of-a-kind pieces.

Key Responsibilities:

Install custom cabinetry, built-ins, shelving units, and architectural millwork according to specifications and shop drawings. Conduct on-site measurements and verify dimensions for fit and finish. Ensure precise alignment, leveling, and secure mounting of cabinetry. Interpret technical drawings, sketches, and blueprints from designers or cabinetmakers. Modify or trim pieces on-site to ensure proper fit without compromising quality or design. Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and clients to meet expectations. Protect installed units and surrounding finishes (floors, walls, trim) during and after installation. Ensure high-level craftsmanship and finishing consistent with luxury or bespoke cabinetry. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.

Qualifications:

Advanced woodworking knowledge, including joinery, finishing techniques, and tool use. Proficiency with installation tools such as levels, routers, table saws, and specialty jigs. Ability to read and interpret custom shop drawings and field sketches. Strong math and measurement skills; laser measuring experience is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and on-site modification skills. Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a small, specialized team. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience with high-end residential or architectural cabinetry installations. Familiarity with finishing touch-ups and repairs (fill, stain, polish) as needed.

Work Conditions:

Indoor and outdoor environments- Depends on project. Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy cabinetry and tools.
