Compensation:
$19 to $22 Hourly (DOE)

Full-Time Finish Point Trim and Millwork is looking for a skilled Cabinet Finisher who wants to join a team that respects your work! We provide custom carpentry services to Knoxville, TN and surrounding areas and are proud to be included in Knoxville’s Top Workplaces for 2024. Experienced professional finishers only please.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work from shop drawings and finish specs: (Oil based, acrylic, lacquers and other finish applications are used.) Apply finishes to various types of solid and engineered woods with consistency and quality. Operate and maintain all finish equipment Adherence to standards Prep work: taping, staging, setup for successful spray Sanding Spraying (plan of attack, application, overspray) Staining (prep, application, problem solving) Practice proper safety protocol for chemicals Touch up and Repair Test, don’t guess discipline Set out and prepare completed projects to send out Work efficiently to keep up with production schedule As needed
Responsibilities:
Assisting with cabinet building Assist with maintaining shop inventory Assist with maintaining shop upkeep
Occasional CNC Operation Qualifications:
Have dependable transportation. Possess a great attitude, people skills and work ethic Valid driver’s license Able to pass background check Able to pass drug screen Experience spraying finishes. (Cabinet/Autobody/House Painting)
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, and moving materials. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. Must have full range of motion and be able to lift tools above shoulder height to work in tight spaces during installation Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment. Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains. Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination Spacial awareness to work in a finished home and around finished products (without causing damage)
