Job Description
Experienced Cabinet Builder Fixtur-World, Inc 455 Ward Mill Road, Baxter, TN 38544 We are seeking experienced cabinet and fixture builders. We build custom cabinetry, casework, and fixtures for multiple industries, businesses, hospitals and universities all across the United States. If you are experienced in wood working, we are interested in you! Applicants are expected to be able to do the following: cabinet builders : read drawings and instructions for assembling, build cabinets and fixtures to specifications, use belt sanders and other wood working tools as required, and finish the product.
cabinet finishers:
this position requires skills to hang doors, hinges, drawer pulls, locks, drawer glides, drawer fronts, trim, reveals, accents, metal, glass, wood fixtures to be finished.
Responsibilities:
Assemble finished product using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners Collect all materials and equipment needed to assemble product Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components Verify dimensions of precut parts for accuracy of assembly Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications Proficient with using power tools, hand tools, and woodworking machines safely Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, etc. Interact positively and immediately with management Additional duties as required.
Requirements:
Must be able to report to work on time and work entire scheduled work shift Experience setting up and operating a variety of woodworking machine and hand tools Conduct self-safety at all times, ensures a safe work area for others and completes required training Proven ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities Can work independently with initiative, motivation, and maximum effort every day Can also work cooperatively as part of a team with a positive attitude and willingness to learn Follows through all instructions and completes tasks accurately and timely Communicates effectively with supervisors Exhibits professionalism with credibility, confidence and punctuality We offer the following benefits after successfully completing our introductory period: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Aflac. Attendance incentive offered, as well. Compensation will be determined by skill level and experience. This is a full-time position that requires a commitment of 40 regular hours per week and 13 hours of overtime during heavy schedules. Shift assignments will vary, based on you level of skill.
