We’re a family owned and operated cabinet shop in the Middle Tennessee area. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day operations of our woodworking shop, helping with the construction, assembly, finishing, and installation of custom cabinetry and wood products. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist with the cutting, sanding, and assembling of wood materials for cabinetry and other custom wood products Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently Read and interpret basic shop drawings or blueprints Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area Support in preparing and finishing wood surfaces (sanding, staining, painting, etc.) Help with loading, unloading, and transporting materials or finished products Perform quality checks to ensure standards are met Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times Assist with inventory and stock management when needed Other general labor or shop tasks as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Prior experience in a cabinet shop or woodworking environment is a plus, but not required Basic knowledge of hand and power tools Good communication skills and willingness to learn Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
