Production Operator 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Montgomery, AL 36105 Hyundai Mobis will assemble battery packs using cells from the battery factory, then supply them to the Hyundai Motor Group’s US EV factory, where it will produce Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis EV models. Roles & Responsibilities New Production Operator’s will be trained to follow the battery cell manufacturing process by using the plant’s technology and equipment. Operators will be trained on the process of Anode and Cathode mixing and the utilization of a human machine interface (HMI), operator control panel, to activate the equipment. Understand, demonstrate, and preserve workplace and process safety PPE requirements, including, but no limited to hazardous materials, equipment, and other general workplace requirements. Develop and employ an understanding of batter cell manufacturing process Develop and demonstrate working knowledge of anode and cathode mixing processes, including bi-product recycling process Monitor and troubleshoot formation systems, processes and return to operations using Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) Develop and demonstrate understanding and ability to use Human Machine Interface (HMI) to activate equipment to request material for mixing validation.
