MANUFACTURING OPERATOR

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Chemical Manufacturing Operator for a company based in Vance, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a company that is taking a geared toward sustainability by developing solutions to reduce waste and contaminates for different industries. Pay Rate $21.00 to $25.00 per hour Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 6 00 am to 3 00 pm. Chemical Manufacturing Operator Duties and Responsibilities Mix multiple chemicals per specifications. Accurately measure and record all date in various checklists, log sheets and Business Central as per requirements. Make changes in the unit to ensure are met in accordance with MOC procedure production schedules. Learn proper method of loading drums on trucks, loading tank trucks and tank cars. Closely follow safety regulations and guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly. Monitor tank levels, pH levels and some analysis. Successfully complete the plant’s Safety Orientation. Continuously improve our commitment to excellence in Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security performance. Chemical Manufacturing Operator Qualifications and Requirements Experience with chemical manufacturing or refining is preferred. Must have a current, valid driver’s license. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Ability to work with a team , take direction from Supervisors and keep required work schedule. Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently. Ability to work in a plant or office environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to pass Pulmonary Function Test and Respirator Fit Testing.
