Required Capabilities:
Passionate safety commitment including the belief that all injuries can be prevented Self-disciplined and possessing the integrity to uphold Company Values at all times Self-motivated, committed, dependable Team contributor Capability to diagnose, operate, correct, and manage the outcomes of complex processing systems (mechanical and chemical) Ability to learn new concepts and information using process procedures, manuals and diagrams Ability to clearly communicate ideas and information, both written and verbal Ability to use Microsoft Office products Ability to teach both technology concepts and operating procedures to other technicians Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures, climb stairs, climb ladders, lift & carry 55 lbs, and perform other physical duties Must be able to work shift work, including weekends. Prior work in food manufacturing setting is preferred. A background in chemistry is a plus. Check work email daily for information or instructions that may be critical to their job performance Daily careful review of all E-Log entries (shift notes and guidelines) in their area. Review logs for all days since the last time at work to keep abreast of any changes, information or instructions that may be critical to their job performance. Background checks and drug/alcohol screenings will be conducted Must successfully complete all three proficiency levels within their established time frames.
