Full Job Description Autoclave Operator SAFETY:
1) Understand and follow all safety procedures a) Current on all safety trainings b) Wears all required PPE when necessary (steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs) 2) Understand Lock Out Tag Out procedures for assigned areas. 3) Perform duties according to OSHA guidelines, policies and procedures 4) Complete General Plant Safety Training within the first 8 weeks.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
1) Monitor daily production for any mechanical issues. 2) Responsible for inspecting and greasing each cart as it exit the curing chamber. 3) Responsible for maintaining proper level and flow of anti-efflorescence at the sponge roller station. 4) Responsible for maintaining the Autoclave computer system to maintain proper curing of product and time in the autoclave chambers. 5) Learn all the controls and functions of the TR’s, RC’s and robots in there operational area.
EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE
1) Autoclave 2) Sponge roller 3) Forklift
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1) Must be able to lift at least 50lbs and to push-pull up to 75lbs. 2) Must be able to work long periods while continuously standing, twisting, bending, reaching, and stooping. 3) Must be able to work in environment which is dusty and noisy. 4) Must be able to work in plant environment with extreme seasonal temperatures.
