In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production processes in a chemical manufacturing environment. You will ensure that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while adhering to industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in Lean manufacturing practices, materials handling, and laboratory procedures. Responsibilities Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to ensure optimal production levels. Fabricate components as needed for production processes. Maintain compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) throughout all operations. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and processes to identify any potential issues. Package finished products according to specifications and quality standards. Utilize forklifts for the safe movement of materials within the warehouse. Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiencies through Lean manufacturing techniques. Document production data accurately and maintain records as required by regulatory standards. Assist in training new employees on safety protocols and operational procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus. Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment is preferred. Knowledge of machining processes and materials handling techniques. Familiarity with laboratory practices and safety protocols. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently; certification preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
