ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
includes, but is not limited to the following: Wearing non-slip steel composite toe shoes. Inspecting and properly wearing assigned safety harness to be used when climbing on railcars, tank wagons, etc. Learn and understand ERP System (E21) as if pertains to the Bulk Department Ability to use a computer, email, software (spreadsheets, E21, etc.) and operate equipment via computer screens. Properly line tank wagon up to loading pipes. Properly inspect tanks wagons prior to loading. Ensure all special customer requirements are completed. Load with correct type and quantity of oil. Properly seal tank wagon after loaded. Ensure drivers receive required customer paperwork samples before leaving premises. Ensure correct valves are opened then closed once loading has been completed. Change filters for tank wagon loading unloading pumps. Unload railcars according to SOPs which includes but are not limited to: Sample railcars. Connect and disconnect steam to the railcars. Change filters for railcar pumps. Unload tank wagons, ISO containers and flexi containers according to SOPs which include but are not limited to: Collect proper paperwork from truck driver for oil to be unloaded. Verify and ensure seals are still in tack and properly attached to the tank container. Properly line up the tank wagon, ISO or Flexi to be unloaded in the proper door. Complete the electronic process of receiving the oil through E21. Make sure that the tank container is connected to the correct pump and tank valves are open prior to starting the unloading process. Dispose of all materials for the flexi container in the correct dumpsters. Be able to safely connect and disconnect steam to flexi containers when needed. Change filters for tank wagon loading unloading pumps. Ability to communicate with Bulk Department Manager and/or Supervisor with possible issues that might affect safety, equipment use, effectiveness and efficiencies. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential for success in this position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2 plus years related experience and|or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, follow operating procedures (SOPs) and procedure manuals. Be able to use and communicate using a 2-way radio. Ability to write|complete routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Familiar with using a computer – i.e. spreadsheets, email, etc.
