Process Technician 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars Prentiss County, MS Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Technician to join our dynamic team. This position will aid in startups, installation and removal of molds, setup/operation of auxiliary equipment, disassembly and cleaning of molds and participate in efficient running of shift. This role requires a strong understanding of production techniques and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. As a Process Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence within our facility. Duties Start up of plastics injection molding machines, including the input of the proper process parameters Monitor and control production processes to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards including 6S’s. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues. Coordinate with Process Supervisor/Manager to participate in the efficient start up of all machines according to the production schedule Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions or production delays. Must have strong understanding of molding process and machine operation Basic understanding of robotics and ability to learn programming of robotics Ability to work well with others Must be able to bend, stoop, use arms overhead, stand on cement up to 12 hours, lift, push or pull up to 100 lbs. Forklift experience is a plus, Injection molding/programming Qualifications College degree welcomed but someone with at least 3-5 years experience with a high school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field will suffice Proven experience as a Process Technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Familiarity with process control systems and manufacturing software is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
