In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production processes of chemical products, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials handling, lean manufacturing principles, and laboratory practices. Duties Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Fabricate and package chemical products according to established procedures and specifications. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and processes to identify any issues or areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch numbers, quantities produced, and quality control measures. Adhere to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to ensure product quality and safety. Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing techniques that enhance productivity. Utilize forklifts for materials handling within the warehouse as needed. Assist in laboratory testing of products to confirm compliance with quality standards. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry best practices and safety protocols. Requirements Previous experience as a Chemical Operator or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of materials handling processes and warehouse operations. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is highly desirable. Experience in laboratory environments is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not required at hiring. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
