Flex Production Operator

SHIFT:

• Friday with occasional Saturdays.

PAY:

$18.50 per hour $1.00 shift diff.

JOB SUMMARY

The ProductionOperator is the front-line employee who performs the manufacturingprocesses that add value and quality to the inputs and create thefinal high-quality final products. There are a variety ofsub-classifications within the Operator job family that could rangein specific duties from receiving and handling the raw materials,adding value through a variety of proprietary processes, topackaging the final product. In all stages of production safety,attention to detail, a quality and sanitation focus, and efficiencyare key to the success of the operation.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work well with others

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Age:

  18years or older

• Comprehension:

  Ability to read, write, comprehend,follow verbal and written instructions and perform basic math.

• Critical Thinking:

  Using logic and reasoning to identify thestrengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions orapproaches to problems.

• Safety:

  Ensuring the complete physicalsafety of oneself and one’s co-workers at all times withoutexception

• Time Management:

  Showing up on time, reliablycompleting tasks by the deadline, and adapting to changes indeadlines and priorities with minimal supervision

Working well with others to meet team goals and adjusting toimportant changes

• Active Learning:

  Understanding the implicationsof new information for both current and future problem-solving anddecision-making.

• Active Listening:

  Giving full attention to whatother people are saying, taking time to understand the points beingmade, asking questions as appropriate. Physical Requirements forproduction positions regularly include:

• Able to lift 55lbs
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping,turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting,climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties whilewearing personal protective equipment
• Working across temperaturezones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extendedperiods and may include work in environments where dust andchemicals are present
