Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Distillate Technician to support our cannabis oil distillation operations. In this role, you will be responsible for operating specialized equipment to convert cannabis crude oil into high-purity THC and CBD distillate. The ideal candidate will have experience in cannabis extraction or a laboratory setting and thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate short path, wiped film, or other distillation equipment. Monitor and document each step of the distillation process. Conduct quality control checks for potency, clarity, and purity. Clean, calibrate, and maintain equipment regularly. Track and manage inventory of raw materials and finished products. Assist with post-processing tasks (formulation, terpene blending, filling). Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met. Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field preferred. 1+ year of experience in cannabis distillation, extraction, or manufacturing. Basic chemistry and lab knowledge. Mechanical aptitude (use of hand tools, vacuum systems, etc.). Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods. Must be 21+

Preferred Skills:

Experience operating rotary evaporators, chillers, vacuum pumps, etc. Familiarity with cannabis compliance and cGMP standards. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and adherence to SOPs.

Work Environment:

Lab and production setting with exposure to solvents and heat. PPE provided and required. May include evenings or weekends depending on production needs. Why Join Us?
