Production Operator

Job Summary:
The Production Operator supports daily operations in a paint manufacturing facility, performing tasks like batch making, tank washing, material handling, and equipment cleaning to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate equipment safely per SOPs and industry standards Complete production tasks including batching, milling, filling, and packaging Perform maintenance, collect process data, and complete documentation Identify and report safety/quality issues Clean tanks, pumps, and filters; operate automated cleaning equipment Handle raw materials and transfer finished products with correct labeling Support HSE, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives Operate forklifts and lift up to 75 lbs; work in varying conditions
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Forklift certification (or ability to pass test) Ability to follow SOPs, read labels, measure accurately, and work independently Comfortable with physical labor and chemical exposure
Preferred:
Experience in paint/chemical manufacturing Basic Microsoft Office skills
