3rd Shift M-F 11p-7:30a

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Run deodorizing process, monitor to ensure running optimally and product meets defined specifications. Perform trouble shooting and daily maintenance of equipment. Change filters, monitor and control butter storage and pumping routes to proper tanks/defined destinations. Coordinate with maintenance dept to address issues, help identify root causes, plan and perform downtime activities. Assist with laboratory activities and shipping/receiving of material used in process such as cocoa butter and distillates into railcars and tank trucks Maintain area and equipment in clean and orderly condition. Report any defective materials or questionable conditions, complete all paperwork for process and quality records. Input required documentation of product specifications and quality into the system Conduct regular sample tests to confirm accurate weight of materials and document results Report any defective materials, missing or damaged tools to the Supervisor Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Ensure critical control point compliance documenting US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) results, magnet cleaning, downtime, waste generation; report any non-conformities Rotate into other production areas and perform additional duties where resources may be needed Collaborate with co-workers on the plant floor throughout production cycle Pick up other tasks that may be needed during downtime (maintaining clean work areas, etc.) Operate within the Blommer core values of respect and care for others

Physical Requirements:

Able to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for prolonged periods of time Ability to operate mechanized vehicle Regularly required to bend, stoop, and reach Occasionally ascend/descend stairs Constantly operate within a manufacturing product environment – daily exposure to noise, dust and variation in temperature (hot/cold)

Skills and Work Experience Requirements:
