Chemical Operator Job Description We are seeking a Chemical Operator with experience in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing, specifically in formulations and mixing batches of chemicals. The role involves formulation work and executing batch schedules to scale up products while managing raw materials and monitoring processes. Responsibilities Perform operations as described in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Test the quality of raw materials through chemical analysis. Conduct experimental batch mixing. Adjust and document experimental batch mixes until finished products meet specific specifications. Test the quality of products through chemical analysis. Collect and process data for analysis. Sample, inspect, measure, and approve components and chemicals for production usage. Inspect and approve finished products. Verify packaging weights and labeling. Essential Skills Experience with lab technology, batch making, and chemical operating. Proficiency in solution preparation and process monitoring. Experience in quality control testing. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. Work Environment The role is based in a pilot scale manufacturing environment. The position requires working third shift hours, from 11 PM to 7 AM, Monday to Friday. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
