Job Description
The Chemical Operator is responsible for maintaining safety, plant production, operating efficiency and regulatory compliance Job Responsibilities Follows and encourages others to follow all organizational safety rules and practices. Fosters & maintains a positive work environment. Performs basic tasks interacting with pumps, pipes, valves, and HMIs to prepare and charge material into the manufacturing batch process. Ability to operate a forklift to load/unload trailers and transport materials. Performs basic lab testing. Count and report inventory daily and assist monthly inventory counts. Ability to follow and perform lock out tag out (LOTO) for maintenance work on equipment. Maintain work area in a clean, organized, and safe environment. Maintain accurate records including batch sheets, lab data entries, and shift turnover documents. Recommends methods to improve production methods and equipment. Ability to assist others in troubleshooting problems. Performs other duties as assigned.
