- Perform detailed visual checks on metal components to identify wear, damage, or nonconformance. Use of Precision Tools
- Measure critical dimensions using micrometers, calipers, and other inspection instruments to ensure components meet specifications. Buffing & Grinding
- Conduct minor repairs including buffing, de-burring, and grinding using handheld rotary tools to prepare components for reuse. Data Entry & Documentation
- Log inspection results, defect types, and repair actions into digital systems with accuracy and clarity. Quality & Throughput Balance
- Maintain high inspection standards while keeping pace with production goals to support on-time delivery. Material Handling
- Safely lift, move, and position heavy metal components throughout the inspection and repair process. Preventive Maintenance
- Complete routine maintenance on inspection tools and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure reliability. Training & Mentorship
- Assist in onboarding new associates by modeling proper techniques and promoting a culture of quality and accountability. Continuous Improvement
- Engage in lean initiatives to enhance inspection processes, reduce waste, and improve overall product flow. Qualifications Basic Manufacturing
- Manufacturing or quality-focused experience preferred Short-Cycle
