We are now hiring Heat Treat Operator who are team players, versatile, and dependable! $18/Hr Schedules rotate days each week,7am-730pm 2 day one week 5 the next weekends required on the 5 day week

Qualifications:

One to three months related experience and/or training; Mechanical aptitude, good organizational skills, ability to hadle multiple tasks at one time, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, self starter, basic computer knowledge, good communication skills, visual skills for accessing funtionality of equipment and parts, ability to read and interpret documents, physical ability to handle heat and regularly lift up to 10 pounds, flexible to work backshifts and overtime

Responsibilities:

“Loading/offloading and maintaining 9 furnace lines; Breaking up and adding salt; working in extreme heat (12 hour shifts) Ability to run both sides of Heat Treat when needed Maneuver barrels with metal product manually or using barrel dollies and barrel dumpsters. Secures barrels and loads automatic feeding device. Weighing totes and creating and scanning labels. Keep barrels and totes free of parts, foreign material and oil Starts machine, engages feed and keeps probes clean to maintain an even consistent product load on furnace hearth tray and observes operation. Maintain machine controls and guides to consistently adjust machine to remain in compliance with product specifications. Obtains samples and completes testing, such as hardness, soap concentration (upper), light oil concentration and titration (lower), as specified. Knowledge of chemical inventory. Replace or repair worn machine accessories such as tightening bolts, replacing phos staps, swapping motors, changing steam coils as well as assisting maintenance when needed. Maintains process documentation consistently and accurately. Perform or assist in the Salt reclaim process. Adjusts flow of chemicals to machine reservoir and turns valve to start flow of soaps, phos and light oil. Maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment at all times. Why PROMAN Staffing ?
