Production Technician Job Description As a Production Technician, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing, assembly, and packaging of BioProcess Containers within a clean room environment. You will be expected to meticulously follow Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instruction Documents, and blueprints or drawings related to assembly, materials handling, equipment operation, and finished goods packaging. This position requires adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and working effectively in a fast-paced team setting. Responsibilities Manufacture, assemble, and package BioProcess Containers in a clean room environment. Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instruction Documents. Interpret blueprints or drawings as they relate to assembly, materials handling, and equipment operation. Ensure compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Collaborate effectively within a fast-paced team environment. Essential Skills Production experience, preferably one year. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment. Proficiency in assembly line operations and general production. Competence in data entry and warehouse operations. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to follow complex procedures and adhere to Good Manufacturing Principles. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience as a production worker, assembly worker, warehouse worker, or order picker. Computer literacy, including the ability to log into systems to complete training modules. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a controlled cleanroom, maintaining over 30% humidity with temperatures ranging between 60 to 70 degrees. Employees are required to wear specific gowning including gloves, hair and beard nets, face cover, safety glasses, and must refrain from wearing makeup or jewelry. The cleanroom environment may have ambient noise, and the position demands physical tasks such as forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion. Employees should be able to stand and move about, including reaching, bending, stooping, and grasping throughout the shift. Ability to use PPE and understand chemical hygiene is essential, including handling common chemicals like disinfectants and solvents. Occasionally, lifting up to 40 pounds unassisted may be required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 – $21.28/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
