CNC Operator Position Available In Montgomery, Alabama

We are currently seeking a CNC Operator for a client in the automotive industry, specializing in car manufacturing. This is a direct-hire position based in Montgomery, AL that requires onsite presence. PURPOSE:

Operate, program, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts per shop drawings and specifications. Ensure product quality, uphold safety standards, troubleshoot issues, and maintain accurate production records.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operating CNC Machines:

Setting up and operating CNC machines to perform repetitive operations.

Interpreting Shop Drawings:

Reading and interpreting shop drawings to understand the dimensions, cuts, and specifications.

Programming and Editing:

Programming and editing the CNC machine to specify speed, feed rates, and tool paths.

Maintaining Equipment:

Cleaning and maintaining the CNC machines and related equipment.

Quality Control:

Inspecting finished products for accuracy and quality, ensuring compliance with specifications.

Safety:

Maintaining safety standards and safe work practices.

Record Keeping:

Keeping records of production data and maintenance, as well as maintaining equipment inventory and supplies.

Problem Solving:

Troubleshooting issues that arise during the CNC machining process. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma/GED Experience with CNC-Machines Experience in a Manufacturing environment

REQUIRED SKILLS

Experience:

Experience in CNC machine setup, programming, and operation is essential.

Technical Skills:

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, understand CNC programming, and use CAM software.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during the CNC machining process.

Safety Awareness:

Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices. Attention to

Ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of the finished products.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.
